Soup Club Season 2

Back by popular demand! We rebooted Soup Club because we're all desperate to have someone else plan lunch.

A bunch of Zoombas gathered around the conference room table, our new Loch Ness Monster soup ladle and the start of the show: Homemade Chili made by our own Director of Operations Tracy Mugan!

2016 Holiday Dinner

Once a year, we bring our full-time staff together with many of our vendors and freelance writers for a half-day meeting a delicious dinner to celebrate the year.

We hosted a full house on Dec. 5 at our offices.

We had a lovely private dinner at Cafe Amano.

Spicy Sausage Stew

As the Illinois winter becomes progressively bleaker, our team is more and more thankful for Soup Club!

Each week we are excused from venturing out into the cold, grey, sleety weather and invited into our own company kitchen for a hot lunch!

Truly. Wednesdays can’t come soon enough.

This week our Marketing Director, Jessica, graced us with a spicy Italian Sausage stew! Thanks, Jessica!

Zoomba Group Annual Meeting

On Monday December 7th, we welcomed our extended team members into the Zoomba Group offices. Our team members traveled from all over the country to attend the annual Zoomba Group meeting.

In the afternoon we got updates on each department's achievements in 2015, and we took the opportunity to celebrate them!

A huge congratulations to our contributing editor Amelia Levin on winning the International Foodservice Editorial Council’s (IFEC) TerrIFECer award, which goes to one rising star each year! Congratulations, Amelia!

And congratulations to our whole team for producing 47.5% more pages of content this year! We can’t wait to see what 2016 brings!

New Office, New Me.

We are so excited to be settling into our beautiful new office space!

We have fifteen private offices, a coffee bar and conference room, all designed to integrate personal and collaborative workspaces.

Green features were incorporated in construction, including LED lights and paper stone made from recycled magazines!

Soup Club Season 1, Episode 2

For our second installment of Soup Club, our art director Anne made a roasted vegetable soup.

It was Anne-tastic!

Soup Club

First rule of Soup Club: Don’t talk about Soup Club. Well, your resident intern is here to do what no one else is brave enough to do: talk to you about soup club.

On October 21st, we held our inaugural Soup Club luncheon. Every Wednesday one team member will prepare soup for the entire office.

Rebecca kicked us off with a delicious diner style chili!

Zoomba Group’s New Office Opens Mid-September

The Zoomba Group team is getting excited to move into our new office next month! The new location is in the heart of downtown Elmhurst, a suburb of Chicago, and just up the street from our current office. The new space blends private workspaces with open office features such as the central coffee bar, where the team can gather for meetings and lattes.

The building was renovated with the latest green equipment, including hydrocarbon refrigeration and light-harvesting LED lights (which will reduce energy use by 30-50 percent). A skylight is being installed in this week to bring in even more natural light! Reclaimed wood is used throughout the office, including the beautiful rainbow poplar conference room table.

We're looking forward to the new space and hope you’ll stop by for a coffee in the future! The new address is 190 North York Street, Elmhurst, IL 60126. We’ll send out formal communication to clients and vendors in the near future, and will update our News page to share more during our move.
