The Foodservice Consultants Society – The Americas Division selected Zoomba Group to be its publishing partner for the society’s Project Showcase, scheduled for release in March 2021. Based in Elmhurst, Ill., Zoomba Group is an original content creation company that publishes Foodservice Equipment & Supplies (FE&S) and restaurant development + design (rd+d).

The FCSI Project Showcase celebrates outstanding work from FCSI members. Highlighted projects range from corporate and university dining facilities to stadiums, restaurants and hotels. All featured projects include consultant and operator interviews, photos, drawings, spec sheets and other supporting documents. It’s a must-read for any operator thinking of creating or renovating a new project.

“This special publication gives FCSI members an opportunity to show off their hard work and unique projects,” said Eric Norman, FCSI, chairman of FCSI – The Americas.  “During our search for a new publishing partner, Zoomba Group stood out as a stellar company willing to deliver a phenomenal product that will enhance the value of FCSI membership. Zoomba Group has a proven track record of exceptional products and we feel that they are best suited to meet our needs and deliver a beautiful publication to our members.

Wade Koehler, CAE, Executive Director, FCSI—The Americas adds: “Zoomba Group has an amazing portfolio of products. We are proud to partner with them and can’t wait to showcase the exceptional work of some of our consultants to the rest of the industry. Finding the right partner for this publication was not taken lightly and we are so happy to be working with Zoomba Group.”

As publishing partners for the annual Project Showcase, Zoomba Group and FCSI – The Americas will solicit projects for consideration and facilitate the review process to select which projects get featured in the issue. Additionally, Zoomba Group will manage copywriting, design and all ad sales in support of the publication. The two organizations plan to release their first issue produced in partnership in March 2021. Later this spring, Zoomba Group will invite FCSI members to submit projects for consideration. Projects published will be determined by a panel of FCSI members and other foodservice experts.

“Partnering with FCSI to produce the unique Project Showcase content piece is an exciting new initiative for us,” said Maureen Slocum, CEO and Publisher of Zoomba Group. “Foodservice consultants are an integral part of this great industry and we’re pleased to support FCSI in presenting the best work produced by FCSI members.”

Zoomba Group will polybag the Project Showcase to a curated list of subscribers in its March issues of Foodservice Equipment & Supplies (FE&S) and Restaurant Development + Design (rd+d). FE&S is a monthly publication distributed to those who purchase, recommend or specify foodservice equipment and supplies in the operator, dealer and consultant segment. rd+d is published six times per year and distributed to designers, architects, developers and chain executives responsible for decision-making of products and services used in restaurant design.
