Joe Carbonara is editorial director for Foodservice Equipment & Supplies and restaurant development + design. In addition to his editorial efforts, Joe often represents both magazines at restaurant and foodservice industry events. In 2013, he was awarded with CFESA’s Outstanding Support from an Allied Association/Press Partner. In 2017 he was a finalist for Editor of the year at the Folio Awards. In 2022, he was presented with MAFSI’s Market Mover Award. Prior to becoming Editor in Chief for FE&S in 2004, Joe was a marketing manager for SmithBucklin Corp., where he spent six years working with NAFEM.
